Veterinary Day Celebration at School

The School celebrated World Veterinary Day on 26 April 2025 with great enthusiasm. The event was inaugurated by the Chairman Brig VS Rajput SM, who highlighted the importance of having an open mind and exploring different fields, encouraging students to broaden their horizons beyond conventional careers. Lt Col Nikhil Arora, Officer Commanding, 8 Army Dog Unit, Bhalukmara, conducted an informative session on Career Prospects in Veterinary Science, inspiring students to consider diverse opportunities in the field of animal health. Major (Dr) Abhishek Bandodkar, Officer Commanding, Assam Rifles Dog Training Centre, Jorhat, delivered a session on World Veterinary Day and the Role of Veterinarians in Society, emphasizing the critical role veterinarians play in maintaining both animal and human health. The celebration reflected the World Veterinary Association (WVA) theme for 2025: "Animal Health Takes a Team." The event successfully raised awareness about veterinary sciences and motivated students to appreciate the vital role of veterinarians in society.
