As I fondly look back at those two years in Army public School, Jorhat. I realize that all that I had learnt there cannot be put down in mere words. The constant struggle of the teachers to bring out the best in each student be it in studies or extra-curricular activities makes me proud to say that I belong to that institution. A lot of what I am today is a result of the growth that happened during those years spent at APSJ. The school taught me that it is in our hands to be what we want to. It is we who can make or break decisions we take at the crossroads that determine where we will be in the future.

The motto of my alma mater is Truth is God. Years after I left school, I realized its underlying meaning. One cannot take resort to any unfair means to achieve success in life if he or she is a product of this institution. The values of integrity, compassion, diligence and accountability were imbibed into me during those days in APSJ, thanks to my mentors. Intact I am standing on my feet today because of them and as I recall those happy days in school, I feel it was a blessing to be a part of APSJ.
