Armed Forces Flag Day Special Assembly

The school conducted a special morning assembly on Armed Forces Flag Day to honour the valiant soldiers of the Indian Armed Forces and acknowledge their unwavering service to the nation. The programme began with a solemn prayer, invoking peace and expressing gratitude for the security and freedom safeguarded by our defence personnel. A detailed speech was delivered on the history, purpose, and significance of Armed Forces Flag Day, helping students understand the tradition of honouring soldiers . The assembly also included a heartfelt recitation of Rabindranath Tagore’s poem “Where the Mind is Without Fear," and a moving tribute was paid to Flying Officer Nirmal Jit Singh Sekhon, whose exceptional courage and sacrifice during the 1971 Indo-Pak War continue to inspire generations. The special assembly also included a beautiful solo rendition of a patriotic song followed by a melodious patriotic group song by the students, adding vibrance and patriotic fervour to the morning.
