Bohag Bihu,Baisakhi and Vishu Celebrations

A special assembly was presented by the students on 12 April 2024 to mark the celebration of the vibrant festivals Bihu and Baisakhi. The cultural bonanza commenced with a Bhangra performance by students in bright Punjabi costumes bringing the spirit of Baisakhi alive. It was followed by a Bihu dance by the students dressed in Assamese attire.The energetic beats of the dhol,pepa and gogona reverberated in the entire school and had everyone tapping their feet in rhythm. Principal Mrs Firdausi Sultana Hazarika in her closing remarks praised the efforts of the students and teachers in organizing the event and highlighted the importance of such celebrations in promoting cultural awareness and inclusivity among students. The celebration at Primary and Senior Wing was a memorable event that provided students with a deeper connection to and appreciation for Indian traditions and festivals and fostered a sense of unity and pride among them.It was a day filled with joy,learning and appreciation for the diversity that enriches our nation.
